We recently set ourselves the task of redesigning and redefining our company vision. While our existing vision "to make all mine sites safer" had met the needs of the business for the past ten years, we felt that a new and revitalised vision could help us with a direction and success in the years ahead.
A real team effort
Everything we do at Safescape is a team effort and thinking up a new vision was no exception. The process was initiated with an internal survey to get all staff's thoughts on what should be included in our vision, with feedback around the elements they felt were important and could be articulated if some asked them.
A new vision is born
After some weeks of deliberation a new company vision was developed:
"To inspire through practical innovation to make all mine sites safer and more sustainable for future generations".
Safescape Vision
The new vision represents Safescape's core ethos of safety and practical innovation, but talks about how we intend to inspire the industry to make change that is bigger than just what we control and through this we hope to see all mine sites safer for future generations of miners.
