Rasp is an underground mining operation with a surface processing facility that has average annual metal production of 30,000 tonnes of zinc metal in concentrate, 20,000 tonnes of lead metal in concentrate, and over 1.0 million ounces of silver in the lead concentrate. Rasp Mine employs over 220 people directly with additional contract employment. Employees reside in the city of Broken Hill. The current Life of Mine (LOM) is 15 years, however, the company is actively exploring on the mining leases and surrounding exploration leases.

Safescape have supplied Rasp with over 900m of Safescape Laddertube which has been installed in 23 raisebore escapeways. Rasp started using Safescape Laddertube back in 2013 with our most recent install being completed in January 2021.
