The Situation

Round Oak’s Mt Colin operation is an underground copper / gold mine located half way between Mount Isa and Cloncurry in North West Queensland. Development commenced in August, 2018 with first production in September 2019. Ore is transported by road trains to the Ernest Henry mine north of Cloncurry for toll processing. First processing of ore was in October 2019.

The Solution

To date Safescape have supplied Mt Colin with around 490m of Laddertube. Safescape have installed all of the ladders along with training site personnel in the installation process.
